We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Search Architect to lead Lucidworks Fusion and Apache Solr platform initiatives on a remote basis with occasional travel to Chicago, IL. The role serves as the primary technical lead and stakeholder liaison across product, business, and engineering teams. The incumbent will be responsible for defining end-to-end enterprise search architecture, driving search relevance optimization, overseeing cloud integrations on AWS, managing production release governance, and steering AI-powered modernization strategies across global teams.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and govern end-to-end enterprise search solutions using Lucidworks Fusion, Apache Solr, and AWS cloud infrastructure Lead search relevance tuning, ranking strategy improvements, boosting mechanisms, and user search analytics for business applications Oversee monthly release deployments, production health monitoring, ingestion pipeline stability, and root-cause analyses for critical issues Provide technical direction and day-to-day oversight to offshore developers, DevOps engineers, and support teams across sprint cycles Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating AI-powered capabilities, including semantic search, vector search, GenAI, and Agentic AI experiencesBENEFITS
