Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / Electrophysiology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Weekends as needed | Minimal call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a high-volume invasive cardiology unit performing over 6,000 procedures per year
• Support procedures across dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs and Electrophysiology Labs
• Care for patients in prep and recovery bays throughout the procedural continuum
• Assist with advanced cardiovascular procedures including complex coronary interventions, structural heart procedures (TAVR, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping), VAD/ECMO, pacemaker/ICD implant and explant, complex ablations, cardioversion, and pulmonary embolectomy
• Remain available for on-call duties as needed to support full-time staff
• Adhere to facility infection control standards, including potential care of COVID-positive patients

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license encumbrances
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, weekends as needed, and minimal on-call assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced structural heart or electrophysiology procedures
• Familiarity with VAD, ECMO, or peripheral vascular intervention workflows
