Job Summary (API Technical Writer at Randstad Digital):
- Independently identify and prioritize documentation needs across API portfolios
- Build and maintain a backlog of documentation and text improvements
- Proactively address documentation gaps, inconsistencies, and outdated content
- Enhance clarity, accuracy, structure, and usability of API documentation
- Drive documentation updates through to publication
- Collaborate with internal product experts (service owners, developers, solution experts) to gather and validate technical information
- Understand technical workflows and documentation requirements
- Partner with marketing copywriters to develop technically accurate sales collateral (e.g., solution briefs, web-ready copy)
- Ensure messaging is technically credible, aligns with go-to-market positioning, and is clear for target audiences
- Continuously improve content quality and maintain up-to-date documentation
