Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Position Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU (part‑time) Location Downers Grove, IL. Busy PACU in a level 1 trauma center with 18 recovery bays. Typical nurse‑to‑patient ratio 2:1. Call required. Schedule 20 hours per week. 8‑hour shifts with on‑call requirements. Pay $38.20 – $57.30 per hour. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, compassion, and strong communication skills to lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
