Certified Licensed Speech Therapy Assistant in Lancaster, CA

This full-time contract position (30 to 35 hours per week) begins March 16, 2026, with Spring Break scheduled for March 23-27. As an itinerant SLPA, you will travel within the school district, providing essential services and AAC device support for students-empowering them to achieve their communication goals.


Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid SLPA license and certification required
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility for itinerant assignments
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language support to students under supervision
• Assist with AAC device implementation and ongoing student support
• Travel between school sites within the district (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Maintain accurate therapy and progress documentation
• Collaborate with SLP supervisors, teachers, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
