Physical Therapist

Physical TherapistWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles and practices of physical therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.Responsibilities:Evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations, taking into consideration their medical history and physician recommendationsDevelop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goalsImplement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulationMonitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as neededEducate patients and their families on proper home exercise programs and self-care techniquesCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient careMaintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulationsParticipate in continuing education opportunities to stay current on best practices in the field of physical therapyEnsure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirementsRequirements:Current state licensure as a Physical TherapistKnowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgroundsKnowledge of current physical therapy techniques and modalitiesBasic computer skills for documentation and communication purposesAbility to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan with employer matchGenerous paid time off policyFlexible scheduleSupportive work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement
