This position serves as supervisor for the Health Professions Education Grants Team in the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing. The team's goal is to design, implement, and scale grant-funded programs that strengthen the healthcare workforce pipeline by integrating education, clinical practice, and community partnerships—while improving access to care and supporting sustainable faculty practice. This team operates within a matrix team model and manages, implements, and evaluates a portfolio of grants programs focused on primary care health care workforce and faculty clinical practice development. This role will provide high-level project management for diverse and fast-paced deliverables for grant-funded projects by providing centralized management, administration and analysis for the infrastructure of the programs. The Health Professions Education Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations, staff, and performance of multiple grant-funded health professions education programs. This role will lead complex, multi-site initiatives that span workforce development and clinical education. The incumbent will be involved in designing, conducting, promoting, evaluating, and supporting health professions education programs in compliance with organizational objectives and nationally accepted accreditation standards and requirements. This position requires strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills to effectively manage competing priorities while ensuring compliance with organizational and accreditation standards. The role also requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment. The incumbent will bring their experience and expertise to a growing team by providing supervision to a unit or group of operational or technical professionals. They will collaborate with community partners to ensure programs are implemented as planned and aligned with established goals and expectations. This role will oversee program data acquisition, management, and analysis to meet project goals and objectives. Responsibilities include collecting, synthesizing, analyzing, and reporting data derived from program activities, and recommending actions in partnership with the leadership team. The incumbent will also be responsible for the high-level design and implementation of regular meetings, retreats, and events. The position requires the use of initiative, sound judgment, and discretion to address complex issues. The incumbent will analyze and compile background information to support faculty and staff in responding to a wide variety of complex needs and project-related challenges.
