Basic Salesforce training would be an added advantage. This individual should be capable of developing, implementing, and executing automated UI test scripts for Salesforce applications using Java and tools like Selenium and Playwright. Strong proficiency in writing and maintaining automated tests for web applications, with a specific focus on Salesforce user interfaces, is essential. In addition, experience with automation frameworks such as Karate, Junit, TestNG, and Cucumber is crucial. Familiarity with test automation in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environment using tools like Jenkins and GitLab would be a significant asset. The candidate should also be skilled in writing and optimizing SQL queries to validate data in both Oracle and Salesforce databases, including complex joins and subqueries. A solid understanding of functional, regression, and cross-browser testing is vital. The candidate should have experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, SOAPUI, or Insomnia. Monitoring test execution, checking logs, logging issues, and collaborating closely with development teams to resolve defects are key responsibilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues in both UI and backend systems are necessary. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working effectively within an agile team environment. Experience in financial systems, specifically with credit card and banking applications, is highly desirable. The candidate should also have experience with test management and issue tracking using JIRA and Confluence, as well as familiarity with version control tools such as Git. Familiarity with cloud-based systems like Amazon CloudWatch is a plus, and experience working with TSYS to validate credit card transactions would be an added advantage. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with manual testing for exploratory, ad-hoc, and edge cases, especially where automation coverage is not possible.
