Practicum Education Coordinator, School of Social Work, Hybrid Location: Boston, MA, United States. Position type: Full‑time/Regular. Salary range: $72,000.00–$80,000.00. Salary grade: 48. The BUSSW invites applicants for the Practicum Coordinator position to serve as part of our team to ensure that all MSW students receive a robust practicum education experience that is well aligned with core social work competencies and career preparedness. Responsibilities Work with MSW students across Online, On‑Campus, and Off‑Campus programs to secure required internships. Partner with agencies, vet potential agencies, and address problems as they arise. Supervise and support field advisors. Contribute to content development for and instruction of Practicum Education Seminars. Facilitate information sessions and practicum preparation seminars. Serve as practicum advisor to students in placement. Provide virtual supervision for students in agencies that do not have a social worker on staff. Participate in departmental and School‑wide committees. Qualifications Master’s degree in social work (MSW). 5–8 years of social work experience in clinical/macro settings. At least 3 years of experience as a practicum education advisor/supervisor. Social work licensure required; LICSW or equivalent preferred. Demonstrated commitment to anti‑oppressive social work practices. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
