Desktop Support Technician

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA (Onsite) that is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users across our Los Angeles locations.What You'll Do:
  • Provide onsite and remote desktop support for end users
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
  • Image and deploy PCs, laptops, and Macs using enterprise tools
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and peripherals
  • Support workstation moves, equipment deployments, and office relocations
  • Perform network port activations and desktop patching
  • Assist with inventory management and replacement equipment logistics
  • Escalate complex technical issues when needed while delivering exceptional customer service
Skills
  • 6 months to 2 years of IT Support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support experience
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows devices and enterprise applications
  • Knowledge of hardware repair, imaging, deployment, and device setup
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to support users both onsite and remotely
  • Comfortable working in a healthcare or large enterprise environment
Preferred Experience:
  • SCCM imaging and software deployment
  • Mac support and device management
  • Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
  • ServiceNow or other ticketing platforms
  • Healthcare technologies such as Cerner, Kronos, or similar systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
