Evening Supervisor - Janitorial Services

Full-Time | On Site

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: 2:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Pay: $22.33/hr

Position Overview

Dale Rogers Training Center (DRTC) is seeking a reliable, motivated Custodial Supervisor to support custodial operations across multiple federal contract sites. This role is essential in ensuring that all assigned buildings meet contract cleaning standards while providing leadership, guidance, and support to custodial staff.

The Evening Supervisor plays a hands-on role in daily operations—conducting inspections, assisting with training, performing custodial duties when needed, and ensuring staff have the tools and direction required to succeed. This position directly contributes to DRTC’s mission by promoting high-quality service, professionalism, and accountability across all custodial projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct Lead Persons and Custodians
• Train employees (new hires and ongoing training)
• Monitor attendance and ensure timely arrival to work sites
• Address employee and operational issues per agency procedures
  
• Participate in special events and emergency response activities as required
• Submit payroll and required documentation accurately and on time
• Schedule staff to meet task and frequency requirements
• Ensure assigned areas meet contract and quality standards

Qualifications: 

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have valid, REAL ID-compliant, driver's license
• Steady employment history
• Exceptional communication skills
• Proven leadership skills required
• Snow removal experience preferred
• Must have a minimum 3 of the last 5 years supervising/managing custodial and grounds policing crews
• Must have Experience working in 620,000 sq/ft facilities as well as multiple floors and buildings
  
• Ability to pass all required agency and contract required background checks
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand up to 8 hours
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. vertically and 25 lbs. horizontally
• Ability to carry required weights up to 100 feet
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, and kneeling
• Ability to push, pull, drag, and move equipment
• Ability to climb up and down multiple flights of stairs
• Must maintain mobility, vision, and dexterity appropriate for custodial duties
