As a motivated Garden Lead, you’ll guide our enthusiastic Garden Center staff, ensuring our garden is beautiful, well‑stocked, and that customers receive exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise Part Time and Seasonal Garden Associates to maintain a deliciously vibrant and tidy Garden Center. Communicate effectively with buyers to keep plant selections and pricing seasonal and competitive. Collaborate with the Store Manager on hiring, training, and scheduling to build a motivated team. Ensure daily watering, cleaning, raking, and weeding to keep the garden attractive and shoppable. Manage shipments of live goods, verify accuracy, and organize displays with your team. Provide enthusiastic and friendly customer service, assisting with plant selection and carrying purchases. Skills and Experience Strong plant knowledge or gardening experience in North Texas is required. Experience with Google Sheets and Docs is preferred. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely. Comfortable working outdoors in summer heat with appropriate safety measures.
