Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Room (Night Shift)

Location

Highlands, NC | Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 7-bed Emergency Department setting following ENA patient ratio guidelines
• Perform standard ED procedures and assessments across a diverse patient population
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage; on-call may be required during low-volume flex periods
• Occasional floating to Med/Surg may be requested as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (must be valid for practice in North Carolina)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC, ENPC, or NRP certification
• CEN, CPEN, or CTRN certification
• Charge nurse or CNC experience
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to thrive in a small, collaborative ED environment
