Speech Language Pathologist PRN

Overview Schedule: PRN, as needed, weekdays and/or weekends availability. Facility: St. Agnes - Ascension. Location: Baltimore, MD. Salary: $40.26-$54.00 per hour. Benefits: Paid time off (PTO). Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech-language therapy. Perform therapy intervention utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient. Educate and counsel patient and family regarding treatment plan. Maintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendations. Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services. Provide information regarding appropriate support programs. Requirements BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers and Speech-Language Pathologists obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred. Education Required: Master’s degree from accredited Speech & Language Pathology program of a university. Preferred: Doctorate degree from accredited Speech & Language Pathology program of a university. Additional Preferences Tier 1: 3 full shifts per 6-week schedule, minimum of 1 weekend shift per 6-week schedule. Required to work 1 winter holiday shift ($50.00). Tier 2: 6 full shifts per 6-week schedule, minimum of 2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Required to work 2 holidays shifts (1 in winter and 1 in summer) ($52.00). Tier 3: 10 full shifts per 6-week schedule, minimum of 3 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Required to work 3 holidays shifts (2 in winter and 1 in summer) ($54.00).
