Vice President of Accounting

Integra Global Solutions is seeking a Vice President of Accounting. This role is for a seasoned accounting and finance professional with exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities. The VP will be a vital leader within the finance team, reporting directly to the CFO and overseeing both domestic and international accounting operations as well as driving technical excellence across the organization. This position is full time in person (5 days per week) and is based in our midtown Manhattan corporate office.

The ideal candidate has both strong managerial skills and technical skills. The VP will oversee a team of eight in day-to-day accounting operations while also performing advanced reconciliations, optimizing processes and controls, and implementing solutions that enhance financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of Financial Operations: Oversee all accounting functions across its retail stores, ecommerce platform, wholesale business, and corporate cost centers, and annual financial audits.
• Advanced Reconciliations & Reporting: Lead detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, cash flow, and P&L statements, ensuring accuracy in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes. Report on both domestic and international performance, including multicurrency consolidation and intercompany eliminations.
• Strategic Financial Analysis: Provide actionable insights through variance analysis and financial forecasting, identifying trends and offering solutions to improve efficiency and financial outcomes.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Optimize internal control frameworks to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Process Improvement & Systems Leadership: Implement ERP system upgrades to improve financial operations. Deep knowledge of ERP systems like NetSuite, Dynamics365, or similar is highly valued.
• Team Leadership & Development: Serve as a manager and mentor on the accounting team, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented environment.
• Management and Investor Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership and investors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in apparel, wholesale, retail and manufacturing/cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
• Solid organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-starter; proactive in learning and finding solutions; find/suggest improvements to processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with coworkers, management and customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Strong technical ability in major ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Dynamics365, SAP).

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dig into complex financial data and drive actionable insights.
• Demonstrable experience in complex reconciliations, particularly in areas such as multicurrency and intercompany transactions.
• 7-10+ years of experience in financial management or control, ideally within retail or fashion, with expertise in GAAP and advanced Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, X-Lookups).
• Experience with ERP implementations or upgrades, with a strong understanding of financial systems (NetSuite, Dynamics365, or similar).
• Ability to lead teams in day-to-day finance operations, perform hands-on analysis and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
• CPA preferred, with a track record of success in technically rigorous environments such as accounting and audit firms.
