Datacenter Technician

Data Center Field Installation Technician (L1 & L2) Locations (Onsite – Shift Work): St. Louis, MO Council Bluffs, IA 51501 We are seeking Data Center Field Installation Technicians (L1 & L2) with hands‑on experience in rack & stack, structured cabling, fiber installations, and data center deployments. This is an excellent opportunity for technicians who enjoy working in mission‑critical data center environments and have experience installing servers, storage, and networking equipment. Required Skills Hands‑on experience with Data Center installations Rack & Stack of servers, storage, and network equipment Structured cabling (Copper & Fiber) Fiber testing experience preferred Experience using Fluke testers preferred Knowledge of power distribution (PDUs, dual feeds) Basic OS installation, imaging, and hardware validation Ability to read rack layouts, elevation diagrams, and cabling schematics Basic troubleshooting of hardware, cabling, and connectivity issues Strong understanding of cable management and labeling best practices Experience working safely in a data center environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Direct‑to‑Chip (D2C) Liquid Cooling or other advanced cooling technologies Familiarity with BIOS/Firmware updates and system bring‑up Experience validating installations and performing quality assurance checks Responsibilities Perform rack builds and rack & stack activities Install and terminate copper and fiber cabling Test and validate fiber connectivity Install and validate power connections Perform basic server deployment and hardware validationSupport troubleshooting during installations Maintain installation documentation and quality standards Mentor and support junior technicians (L2) Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
