Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period. Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5.

Highlights:

• 29-bed neuroscience and epilepsy specialty unit caring for patients with stroke, TIA, epilepsy, and ictal/SPECT studies
• Night shift with consistent nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
• Work alongside a collaborative team of 9 RNs and 2 PCTs during night shift
• Meditech EMR system utilized for documentation
• Opportunity to float to various acute care areas including medical-surgical, general surgery, renal transplant, telemetry, neurology, and orthopedics
• Travel assignment with competitive benefits and support

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Texas (or eligible for multistate compact licensure)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification - Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Preferred
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Experience in medical-surgical or neuroscience nursing preferred
• Willingness to float to other acute care units as needed
