Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for emergency room unit to provide high-quality acute care to diverse patient populations. Responsible for delivering timely, effective, and compassionate nursing services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency care to patients with urgent medical needs, including intubation and central line procedures.
• Monitor and operate ventilators and Baxter IV pumps to support patient stability.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Expanses EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure adherence to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code requirements.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and participate in ongoing training, including certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or ENPC.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.
• Strong patient assessment and emergency response skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, including rotating weekends and on-call shifts.
• Certified in ACLS/BLS/PALS or ENPC.
• Proven team player with a flexible attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR system is preferred.
