Assistant Baker

Position Summary Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented part‑time Assistant Bread Baker. We seek an individual passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that offers an artisan menu of sweet and seasonal breads baked with whole ingredients. Key Responsibilities Follow recipes and produce one‑of‑a‑kind breads while paying close attention to detail. Lift large amounts of dough, flour, and supplies weighing 50 lb. or more; stand, lift, and mix daily. Work a flexible schedule: afternoons/nights, 11 am–7 pm; Sundays and holiday seasons may include overnight shifts. Requirements Large‑scale baking/pastry experience preferred (but not required). Attention to compliance with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation regulations. Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus. Minimum 18 years of age.
