Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for its Rehabilitation Hospitals. The CNO is a key member of the hospital leadership team, responsible for overseeing and establishing best practices and standards for clinical services. This role involves managing nursing teams to ensure the highest quality of care and service for patients, as well as coordinating nursing with other patient care and support functions. The CNO also provides leadership in setting standards for nursing and clinical services and is expected to steer progressive clinical excellence through staff development. Applicants for the CNO position must have a BSN, with an MSN or equivalent Masters in Healthcare preferred. A minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital rehab experience is required, along with current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hospital nursing experience in acute care, with Med Surg and ICU clinical backgrounds being ideal. Additionally, the CNO should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Certification in BLS is required upon hire, and ACLS certification is necessary within 6 months of hire. The role demands a leader who can effectively manage and develop nursing teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in the rehabilitation hospital setting.
