Warehouse Associate - Shipping / Receiving.

Shipping and Receiving Associate

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Possible overtime) Pay Rate: $17/hr. Location: Fort Myers, Fl Experience: Entry level, 1-2 years We are excited to share a new opportunity! PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing company, has been given an opportunity to assist a bona fide top employer in this market! Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities and Requirements may include:

Prepare goods for shipment by building pallets by box size, weight, and height.
Load and unload trucks by hand and forklift.
Load pallets of full goods onto trailers.
Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
Operate forklift and/or pallet jack (manual or electric).
Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.
Complete shipping reports and create shipping documents.
Use computer and perform data entry, as needed.
Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required attire includes steel toe boots, t-shirts, and long pants.
Recent Shipping & Receiving experience is required.
A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
Willingness to submit to a background check and/or drug test.
Must be a responsible and dependable individual.
