As a Licensed Medical Social Worker (MSW) with us, your primary responsibility will be delivering exceptional social work services to our hospice patients and their families. You'll provide counseling and guidance to support their emotional well‑being and coping capacity. Your efforts will make a profound difference in their lives during challenging times. Schedule Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Coverage Area Franklin, Delaware, Marion, Pickaway, and Fairfield County. Evaluate medical needs, home situations, financial resources, and community support. Implement personalized social work plans and collaborate with the Bereavement Coordinator. Shape care plans, attend interdisciplinary meetings, and address psychosocial stresses. Provide empathetic counseling to patients and families. Education Required: Master of Social Work from an accredited school of social work. License Requirements Required: Licensed as a Social Worker from the State Board of Social Work. Required: Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle. Experience Preferred: Minimum one (1) year experience as a social worker in a hospice setting. Required: Minimum one (1) year experience as a social worker in a healthcare setting; long‑term care or medical surgical/acute care setting preferred. Additional State‑Specific Requirements For AL, AR, GA, IL, MA, ME, NJ, NM, OK, OH, RI, SC, and TX: Current unencumbered license as a Social Worker from the State Board of Social Work. $33.00 – $35.00 per hour (average pay range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position.
