This position is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment while also supporting assigned Field Service Technicians.The Field Service Manager serves as a technical resource and leader for the assigned team, helping technicians with technical support, training, company procedures, and customer service issues. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial foodservice equipment experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, leadership ability, and a customer-focused approach.This role plays an important part in maintaining technician performance, service quality, customer satisfaction, safety, and overall operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesService, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking and refrigeration equipmentCommunicate with customers and branch staff regarding repair status, scheduling, and service conditionsComplete service tickets accurately and according to company procedures and best practicesMaintain appropriate truck stock and ensure technicians have the parts and materials needed to complete service callsMaintain service vehicle, tools, equipment, and uniforms to Tech24 standardsAssist the Service Manager in determining appropriate technician stocking levelsSupport assigned technicians with company procedures, policies, and softwareProvide technical support, coaching, and training to assigned techniciansAssist with monthly technician and safety meetingsAssist with technician performance reviews and provide feedback as neededTrain new technicians on safe troubleshooting, equipment service, preventative maintenance, and company proceduresPerform monthly truck inspectionsAssist the Branch or Service Manager with the hiring and disciplinary process for assigned techniciansServe as a positive example and Company advocate for less experienced and new techniciansHelp resolve customer service issues that directly impact assigned techniciansPromote a safe working environment and ensure safety procedures are followedParticipate in on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredQualifications5+ years of commercial foodservice equipment, HVAC/R, refrigeration, or related service experienceEPA certification or other applicable refrigeration certification requiredStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across commercial cooking and refrigeration equipmentPrevious leadership, mentoring, or technician training experience preferredExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and make sound decisions in the fieldAbility to coach, support, and develop techniciansValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record requiredAbility to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quartersAbility to lift 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditionsAbility to travel extensively within the assigned territoryOwn industry-standard hand toolsWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidaysCompensation TransparencyThe advertised pay for this position is $110K-$120K.
