Pneumatic Tech I

Job Title

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, services, maintains and tests various systems and equipment.
• Install tubing on instrumentation task with accuracy and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on pneumatic equipment.
• Prepare safety devices with proper fittings.
• Perform safety testing and troubleshooting of devices and safety systems.
• Assist and maintain high level of work quality.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety standards and industry regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Three (3) years of instrumentation experience.
• Technical certification or diploma in instrumentation and pneumatic systems preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of pneumatic devices, valves, actuators, and control systems.
• Knowledge of PPE equipment required for the tasks.
• Dedicated to constant improvement and attention to detail.

Skills:

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Instrumentation tubing installation techniques.
• Experience with automation and control systems.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation principles and control systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Conditions:

• May be required to work on weekends and/or overtime when necessary.
• Position will work primarily in the field. Subject to time pressures and constraints and is also dependent on input from others. Need to be fit for duty.
• May require standing, bending, or lifting heavy equipment during the installation and maintenance process.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety goggles, gloves, and steel-toe boots is mandatory.
• Must have a valid driver's license and will need to meet the company's insurers driving policy requirements.
• Per diem will be compensated to defray expenses associated with traveling, meals and lodging in accordance with applicable law.
• Subject to a background check, as well as drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations.
