Travel Physical Therapist – McKinney, Texas TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a position in McKinney, Texas. The assignment is for 26 weeks, 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts). Responsibilities As a PT, you will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the facility following local guidelines. Understand and comply with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Evaluate and provide adaptive equipment recommendations. Create, modify, and document plans of care as patient condition changes. Use Medical Center computer systems for daily documentation. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred). New graduates encouraged. BLS certification and state‑specific licensing. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand and walk for long periods; stand, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
