Tooling Supervisor

Tooling Supervisor Riverside County, CA · On-site A medical device manufacturer is hiring a Tooling Supervisor to drive excellence in its tooling function. You'll lead a team of 4 or more technicians, keeping extrusion tooling running smoothly and production on schedule. Why you should apply Lead a team of 4+ tooling technicians supporting extrusion production Direct influence over tooling quality, cost, and delivery for new and existing products Participate in kaizen events and drive continuous improvement, scrap reduction, and new product development 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision, HSA, and paid parental leave What you'll be doing Schedule and perform tool cleaning, inspection, and preventative maintenance for all extrusion tooling Manage work assignments and coach the team on standard work and best practices Troubleshoot, repair, and improve tooling to meet production and customer needs Identify and maintain critical spare parts inventory to prevent production disruptions Partner with operations and engineering to improve tooling processes Train tooling technicians and supervise attendance and teamwork for adequate coverage About you Be able to do the job as described Comfortable interpreting sketches, blueprints, and shop drawings for others Able to make decisions and lead others in a fast‑paced environment with some ambiguity Tool room or maintenance supervisory background a plus Medical device manufacturing experience a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Jacobs Management Group
