Location: Jacksonville, FL

Employment Type: Part-Time (0-8 hours/week)

Compensation: $100-$200/hr.

Start Date: Within 0-6 months

About the Role

We are seeking a  Board-Certified Cardiologist to join as a  Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I)in ongoing and upcoming clinical trials. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity (0-8 hrs./week) ideal for physicians interested in contributing to innovative cardiovascular treatments while maintaining excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight as PI or Sub-I on cardiology-focused clinical trials.

• Conduct participant evaluations, physical exams, and assess eligibility.

• Monitor patient safety, adverse events, and treatment outcomes.

• Review and sign study documentation in compliance with protocol and regulations.

• Collaborate with study coordinators, nurses, and research staff.

• Attend protocol training and ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active  Florida medical license .

• Board Certification in Cardiology required.

• Clinical research experience preferred (training available for motivated candidates).

• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
