Business Development Manager

B2 Constructors is a service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVOSB), multi-state licensed general and mechanical contractor. We deliver high-quality projects for federal clients and are expanding into private markets. We're hiring a Business Development Manager to find, win, and grow new work in the public and private sectors. What you'll do Find and pursue federal, state, local, and private opportunities using SAM.gov, ConstructConnect, and Dodge Build lasting relationships with architects, engineers, owners, developers, and owners' reps Build and manage a pipeline that hits monthly and quarterly sales goals Work with Estimating so leads move smoothly into proposals Lead contract negotiations and stay clients' main contact from preconstruction through closeout Research market trends and present strategy recommendations to leadership Represent B2 at trade shows and industry groups, and help manage our social media What you bring 5–10 years in commercial construction, including 5+ years in business development or a client-facing role A track record of generating leads and winning new clients in the public and private sectors Hands-on experience with SAM.gov, ConstructConnect, or Dodge Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills Skill with CRM and bid-tracking tools and MS Office Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted Bonus points: FAR and government procurement knowledge, BD experience at a GC or design-build firm, and an understanding of bonding capacity, backlog strategy, and margins.
