Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

Brightside Rx is a growing specialty pharmacy dedicated to providing exceptional service to patients involved in personal injury and workers' compensation cases. We work closely with patients, healthcare providers, attorneys, and case managers to ensure medications are delivered quickly and accurately.

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Bilingual Patient Intake Specialist to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have outstanding customer service skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

As a Patient Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring new patient referrals are processed accurately and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Entering new referrals into Monday.com and DigitalRx pharmacy software.
• Accurately entering prescriptions into the pharmacy management system.
• Completing patient intake by verifying:
• • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Allergies
  • Medical conditions
  • Current medication list
• Scheduling medication deliveries with patients.
• Collecting missing referral information, including:
• • Date of Loss (DOL)
  • Law firm information
  • Case manager information
• Contacting physicians' offices to obtain prescription orders and missing documentation.
• Contacting law firms and case managers to gather missing referral information.
• Reaching out to patients to obtain updated or alternate contact information when needed.
• Maintaining complete and accurate patient records.
• Working closely with pharmacists and other team members to provide exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

• Fluent in English and Spanish (Spanish fluency is required).
• Able to type at least 60 words per minute .
• Friendly, compassionate, and patient when speaking with clients.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable communicating with patients, healthcare providers, attorneys, and case managers throughout the day.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and general computer applications.
• Reliable, dependable, and a strong team player.

No pharmacy license or certification is required.
