Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (LTC/SNF)

Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (36 Hours Guaranteed/Week)

Job Overview

Central Peninsula Hospital is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Long-Term Care (LTC/SNF) travel assignment. The RN will provide individualized, resident-centered nursing care while utilizing the nursing process and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to long-term care residents.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor patient conditions and document care using EPIC .
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards.

Requirements

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) License .
• Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience .
• BLS Certification (Required).
• COVID-19 Vaccination (Required).
• BSN preferred but not required .
• Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
