Associate Inventory Analyst

Associate Inventory Analyst position at Becton Dickinson supporting inventory optimization and material flow efficiency. The role combines data analysis, reporting, and cross-departmental collaboration to maintain inventory accuracy and identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

Analyze inventory data including sales forecasts, historical demand, and lead times to identify trends
Generate and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance
Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams on inventory planning and material availability
Perform root cause analysis on inventory problems and recommend corrective actions
Support inventory reconciliation activities, investigate discrepancies, and maintain ERP records

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
1–2 years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, or analytical role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
