Responsibilities Are you looking for an opportunity to share your experienc e in Information Systems Security Officer roles to support our country ? A s a systems security engineer, you can identify the security system needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your experience to lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will protect infrastructure. On our team, you’ll troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your kno wledge of security devices and implementation. You ’ll use your curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions. Using your knowledge and experience in Information system security software, hardware, and firmware, you’ll assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls. In this role, you’ll closely impact the Department of Defense (DoD ) by supporting our country. W ith mentoring, challenging hands-on problem-solving, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. Work with us as we secure and protect the DoD for the better. Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management. Implement infrastructure and system security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises. Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas; leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise. Qualifications You Have: 8+ years of experience as an ISSO on Government and/or DoD contracts Experience proposing, coordinating, implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards and mythologies Experience developing and maintaining documentation for C&A in accordance with ODNI and DoD Policies Experience providing CM for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware Experience supporting clients and high-level government or corporate officers Knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols or encryption tools Ability to evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information Ability to serve as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and provide oversight to other ISSOs TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree or High school diploma and 12+ years of experience DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level 1 or higher Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified inf ormation ; TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph is requ ired . Compensation Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67.31 to $86.54 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch’s total compensation package for employees.
