RN – Emergency Room (Contract)

• Location: California 95240

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Pay: $1,987 – $2,230 per week

• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (36–48 hours/week)

• Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts, start/end times vary)

• Call: None

• Provide emergency nursing care using the nursing process

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes

• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff as appropriate

• Support patient/family education and discharge planning

• Education:

  • BSN (Preferred)

• Experience:

  • Acute care experience (Preferred)

• Licensure/Certifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of practice (Required)

  • BLS/CPR (AHA, ARC, or RQI) (Required)

• Unit Size: 30 beds + 20 hallway spaces

• Staffing Ratio: 4:1

• Weekend Requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule

• Float: Task RN

• Scheduling: Self-scheduling

• Documentation System: Cerner

• Medication System: Pyxis

• Must meet vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
