We're hiring a  W-2 Occupational Therapist (OT)  to provide  K–12 school-based services  for  the 2025 - 2026 School Year . Position Details

• Caseload:  K–12
• Schedule:  Monday – Friday, roughly 7:30 - 3:30
• Hours:  37.5 hours/week
• Dates:  August 2026 – May 2027, with potential to renew for 2027 - 2028
• Location:  Onsite in Elgin, IL

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services aligned with student IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine OT needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student participation
• Document services and progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• NBCOT certification (OTR)
• Current Illinois Occupational Therapy license (IDFPR)
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Support Personnel endorsement in Occupational Therapy (or eligibility to obtain)
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
