RN STAFF NURSE - SCH EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

Registered NurseProvides nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation; promotes restorative/supportive care; ensures safe medication administration and documentation.• Current RN license by MS Board of Nursing; ability to read/write/communicate effectively.• CPR or ACLS certification.• Coordinate care and perform assessments.• Develop Plans of Care and educate patients/families.• Document accurately; report changes.• Maintain infection prevention; administer meds safely.• Participate in performance improvement.• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices.• Assist with patient repositioning and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.• Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech.All candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
