What You'll Do

• Assess patients to determine needs, strengths, and rehabilitation potential across age groups
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluation and physician input
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in medical records
• Delegate tasks to PT assistants, students, and technicians while supervising treatment delivery
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate post-acute rehabilitation plans
• Educate patients and families on injury/disease management, self-care, and preventive strategies
• Support and mentor PT and PTA students as a clinical instructor when requested
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital policies, ensuring quality care and optimal outcomes
• Perform other departmental duties as needed

What You Need

• Valid Michigan licensure in Physical Therapy
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with standard office and healthcare software

Preferred:

• Experience in inpatient or acute care settings
• Ability to travel independently throughout the hospital and community
