LMSW

Licensed Master Social Worker

Provides a range of psychological assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or case management services for individuals, children, couples, groups, and/or families, as appropriate to position. Works under the direct guidance of a LCSW within Community Health and Wellness. Will participate in case consultation and present cases at clinical meetings.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• LMSW position requires a Master's degree from an accredited program in Social Work
• Must have previous experience professionally or from a previous internship with assessing clients, maintaining an EHR, and some individual therapy experience
• Group treatment and other therapeutic techniques preferred but not required
• Must speak, write and read English proficiently
• Spanish preferred but not required
• A current license from the Connecticut State Board of Registration and passed a national or state-certified licensing exam

Physical Effort/Environment:

Physical Demands: (More than 4 hours per day)-Requires walking, bending, sitting, standing, writing, reading, telephone use, data input into computer, and high level of audio and visual acuity. Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds. Manual Dexterity Required: Ability to use a keyboard, computer, and telephone and other duties that require fine motor skills. Virtual Environment: Proficient in utilizing virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom, etc) for CHWC-related meetings, training, etc.
