Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards aligned art lessons Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity Differentiate instruction to support students with varying learning styles and abilities. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic goals. Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development activities. Uphold school policies and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Visual Arts (LX) Endorsement Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Experience integrating educational technology into daily instruction (Google Classroom, SMART Boards, educational apps, etc.) Commitment to continuous professional growth and student success.
