Patient Registration Representative

Join Pride Health as a PSC Registration Representative at Bellingham, WA! This is a 5+ months assignment (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. Role: PSC Registration Representative Location: Bellingham, WA 98225 Shift Schedule: Day Shift (Typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ; may begin as early as 6:00 AM based on business needs) Hours per Week: 40 hours Start Date: ASAP Pay Highlights: $18-21/hr. on W2 (Based on experience & education) Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Assist patients with kiosk check-in and ensure registration information is accurate. Contact physician offices and clients to obtain patient orders when necessary. Respond to patient and customer inquiries professionally and efficiently. Perform front office administrative duties including filing, faxing, mailing, and data entry. Process customer concerns using established reporting procedures. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements. Utilize test translation tables and internal systems accurately. Maintain adequate office and laboratory supply inventory. Complete required training and comply with Quest Diagnostics policies and procedures. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Minimum 1 year of customer service experience . Preferred Experience Data entry and keyboarding experience. PC/computer proficiency. Previous front office, receptionist, healthcare, or clerical experience. Medical terminology knowledge is helpful but not required. Additional Requirements Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, or adjusted start times based on staffing needs. COVID-19 vaccination is required. Only approved medical exemptions will be accepted. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
