Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Weekends and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 74-bed Emergency Department within a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Accredited Center of Excellence
• Deliver care across a 3-bed trauma bay and a secure behavioral health unit as needed
• Float to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU), a 22-bed telemetry-capable unit that serves as a staging area for patients awaiting testing, consultations, or inpatient placement
• Perform nursing interventions and procedures for patients transitioning from the main ED to the ETCU until disposition is determined
• Adhere to holiday scheduling expectations, including working at least 1–2 of the major holiday periods covered during the contract term
• May provide care for COVID-positive patients; facility is tobacco-free and fragrance-free

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license — no license hits accepted
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required (AHA or ARC only)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this position
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC charting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with telemetry and/or negative pressure room protocols
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient care in an emergency setting
