Come join our award-winning team as an overnight Valet at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in downtown Salt Lake City. Position is full-time, Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays/Mondays, OVERNIGHT 11pm-7am. Must be 21+, pass a mandatory background check and drug test, have a valid driver license and clean driving record . Pay is hourly with potential for tips.

Duties include:

• Extend a warm, friendly welcome to arriving guests.
• Carefully and efficiently park, secure, and retrieve vehicles.
• Respond helpfully to guest questions about the property, getting around and nearby happenings.
• Communicate parking procedures to guests.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Graciously assist guests with issues arising out of the parking experience.
• Making sure all public areas/walkways are safe and clutter-free. (This includes helping Maintenance Department in the winter with snow removal).
• Consistently demonstrates conscientious cash handling in accordance with departmental procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 21+, pass a mandatory background check and drug test.
• Must possess a valid driver license with clean driving record
• A calm, service-oriented demeanor.
• Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
• Ability to effectively monitor hotel for any safety/security issues.
• Strong communication skills.
• This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, walking and running during high business levels to retrieve cars.
• High school education or equivalent experience is required, with prior customer service experience helpful.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred
