These individuals may be involved with multiple systems and present with a range of intellectual, developmental, mental health, and medical conditions. The CPP Nurse conducts clinical assessments, performs quality‑assurance visits to CPP residential homes, and identifies the healthcare and developmental needs of those served. The role also provides clinical guidance to the CPP team in developing health‑related goals for Individual Program Plans and assists vendors in creating Restrictive Health Care Plans. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Graduation from a school of nursing approved by the National League for Nursing; a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred. A valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California is required. EXPERIENCE Two (2) years of Nursing experience in a health care setting. The role collaborates with interdisciplinary staff and supports service planning and decision‑making to promote timely, high‑quality psychological services. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Doctoral degree (Ph.D./Psy.D.) in Psychology from an APA‑accredited university. Licensed by the California Board of Psychology (BOP) as a Psychologist. EXPERIENCE Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a clinic, hospital, or public agency. A significant portion of this time should have been spent in the evaluation and/or treatment of people with developmental disabilities. Must have experience in functioning as a part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
