We are seeking an experienced Rotary Die Cut Operator to take ownership of machine setup, operation, quality, and crew performance. This role will lead and mentor operators and assistants while ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time production.

Key Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, and develop operators and assistants to build a skilled, versatile, and motivated crew.
• Model professionalism and accountability while promoting strong performance, work ethic, and teamwork.
• Serve as the on-the-floor decision-maker in the absence of direct management.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Set up, operate, and maintain the Rotary Die Cutter, including tooling, anvil, feeders, guides, and delivery systems.
• Perform quality checks, inspect samples, and ensure all boxes meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate work orders with maintenance and supervision.
• Manage job changeovers and verify machine setups before full production runs.
• Track production data, including output, downtime, and waste, using the Encore PDE system.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Support and generate continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve machine uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• experience operating a Rotary Die Cutter in a corrugated manufacturing environment.
• Previous lead operator or supervisory experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read job tickets, specifications, and production logs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and production efficiency.
