Material HandlerJob Type: Full-time, 1st Shift (5:30am to 4pm) Location: Oxford, NC Pay: starting at $19 to $21 per hourKey Responsibilities:Communicate with Supervisors to ensure workstations are properly staged with necessary materials (e.g., parts, hardware, etc.).Safely move raw and finished parts to their next required location or department.Review job travelers accurately to determine correct material routing.Load and unload raw materials from vendor trucks as needed.Operate industrial forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the shop.Record quantities of materials received, moved, or distributed accurately.Stage required materials line-side to keep machining centers supplied and production flowing efficiently.Experience & Qualifications:Forklift operation: 2 years (Preferred) - Must be able to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficientlyWarehouse: 2 years (Preferred)Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)Epicor ERP: 1 year (Preferred)Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to lift and move materials as required.Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Working Environment & Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 10-hour shift in manufacturing production environmentFrequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50-75 poundsMust wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, and graspManual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery and measuring equipmentAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures - regular exposure to machinery, metal materials, and industrial noiseOvertime and occasional weekend work may be required to meet production demandsBenefits:Health & Wellness: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance options.Financial Security: 401(k) retirement savings plan with 401(k) match and Company-paid Employee Life Insurance.Work-Life Balance: Vacation (PTO), Sick days, and Paid Holidays as well as Parental leave.Additional Perks: Optional Disability insurance (Short-term & Long-term), Pre-tax spending accounts (HSA/FSA/DCFSA), and Referral program.Hourly Pay Range: Compensation within the posted range will be based on the candidate's experience, technical skills, shift, and demonstrated ability.2nd Shift Premium: Employees working second (2nd) shift receive a 10% shift differential.ITAR Compliance Requirement:This position requires ITAR compliance and may involve access to technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
