Contract | Days | Weekend Block Schedule (Saturday & Sunday + 1 weekday shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonatal patients in a Level IV/Surgical NICU environment
• Manage patients with complex diagnoses including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, and pulmonary hypertension
• Support pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative neonatal patients as needed
• Float to other units as operationally needed
• Participate in holiday coverage — at least one holiday shift is expected if it falls within the contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in a Level IV and/or Surgical NICU setting
• PALS certification required
• Must pass nicotine screening as part of the standard drug screen — no exceptions
• Flu vaccine required — no exceptions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred
• Familiarity with surgical neonatal diagnoses and post-operative neonatal care
• Experience with pulmonary hypertension and chronic lung disease management in neonates
