We operate and maintain three-fourths of the region's high-voltage transmission, delivering clean, renewable hydropower to millions of people. Our work depends on state-of-the-art facilities and a world-class team.

As our next Interior Designer and Project Manager, you won't just be designing spaces-you'll be creating the foundational environments that empower our teams and sustain the critical infrastructure our region depends on. This is an opportunity to use your full range of design and leadership skills to make a tangible impact on the future of energy.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a variety of interior design and space planning projects from concept to completion, taking full ownership of project scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Spearhead multi-disciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration between architects, engineers, and other partners to deliver strategic and impactful results.
  • Serve as the key liaison with clients and customers, translating their needs into clear project requirements and defining the path to successful outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, evaluating the long-term impacts of facility modifications and providing recommendations that shape major capital investment decisions.
  • Develop innovative design solutions that meet complex regulatory and technical requirements, directly supporting the long-term sustainability and reliability of BPA's facilities.
  • Drive project success by proactively identifying and removing obstacles, empowering your team to deliver exceptional results and complete projects efficiently.
  • Provide expert oversight of contractor activities, ensuring high-quality work, adherence to timelines, and responsible stewardship of project funds.
  • Represent the organization as a subject matter expert on interior design and space planning, providing guidance and technical expertise to BPA staff, leadership, and external partners.
