Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting in Santa Fe, NM. This is a travel assignment with an immediate start. You will utilize your expertise to assess and treat patients' neuromusculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory issues, helping to restore their function and mobility.

Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist

• Verify physician orders prior to evaluation.
• Evaluate patients incorporating psychological and physical issues, complete evaluations, and establish goals and plan of care collaboratively.
• Administer all Physical Therapy treatments and modalities.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment; communicate usage to patient and family.
• Apply or supervise treatments such as exercises, cryotherapy, ultrasound, etc.
• Maintain contact with referring physician regarding patient progress.
• Direct and oversee PT Assistants during treatments.
• Maintain records of all patient treatments and ensure accurate documentation.
• Promote team approach and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Maintain professional competence and participate in appropriate professional groups.

Requirements of the Physical Therapist

• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Relevant degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors, or Associates)
• Demonstrated skills in assessment/evaluation and strong interpersonal communication abilities
