REGISTERED DIETITIAN

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing meal plans, and providing education on healthy eating habits. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient health and well-being. Job Details Job Location: New Hartford, NY 13413 Position Type: Per Diem Education Level: 4 Year Degree Salary Range: $38.00 - $43.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Key Responsibilities Assess patients' dietary and nutritional needs based on medical history and current health conditions. Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to promote optimal health. Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition, meal planning, and dietary modifications. Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as necessary. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition care into overall treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, plans, and progress. Stay up-to-date with the latest nutritional research and best practices. Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations regarding nutrition and dietetics. Qualifications Must be a Registered Dietitian or a Certified Dietitian‑Nutritionist, as recognized by the State of New York. Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited program. Completion of a supervised practice program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
