To learn more about Pearce visit Your Impact We are seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This fast-paced role is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the telecom industry. Location Candidates should reside in the Springfield, Massachusetts area. Responsibilities Maintain cooling systems—diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems. Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment. Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment. Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services. Complete daily work reports accurately and on time. Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the Pearce Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Qualifications Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required). 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred). Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email. Available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion. Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure. Occasional overnights required; company pays all travel costs and provides per diem. Driving to remote work sites as needed. Will be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors. Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds). Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. Compensation Hourly pay ranges from $27.00 to $38.00, DOE. In addition to base wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem, or other applicable compensation.
