Account Clerk II Job Location:Sacramento, California Job Type: Temporary Pay Rate:$23-$23.55/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm Description of Position:Do you have experience as an Account Clerk II? Our client is seeking a detail oriented and organized professional to provide fiscal and administrative support in a dynamic office environment. This position plays an important role in processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the processing of Medi-Cal claims as part of the CalAIM initiative. This is a limited term assignment with the potential to become permanent based on ongoing workload and business needs. Job Responsibilities:Process financial transactions and Medi-Cal claims accurately and efficientlyMaintain accurate financial and accounting recordsPerform general accounting and fiscal support dutiesVerify, reconcile, and process financial documents and transactionAssist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions as assignedEnter and maintain data in accounting and financial systemsPrepare reports, maintain files, and ensure documentation is complete and accurateProvide administrative support to ensure efficient day to day operationsMaintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial informationCommunicate professionally with internal departments and external partners Description of Company:You will be supporting a government agency in Sacramento, California. Experience required:Previous experience as an Account Clerk, Accounting Clerk, Fiscal Assistant, or similar accounting support roleKnowledge of basic accounting principles and financial recrodkeepingStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent data entry and computer proficiency, including Microsoft OfficeAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience processing Medi-Cal claims or working in a healthcare or government environment is a plus Similar Positions:Accounting ClerkFiscal AssistantAccountantStaff Accountant Bolt Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
